Chelwood Campsite ¶

A 30-acre site hidden in the Avon countryside with broad camping fields, woodland edges, and a winding stream perfect for bivouacking.

Cumbria¶

Great Tower ⚜️¶

A 250-acre woodland site on Lake Windermere near Newby Bridge, with lodges, tented villages, camping, and activities like kayaking, climbing, and bushcraft.

Dorset¶

Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre ¶

Set in the New Forest National Park, this centre offers open camping space, activity sessions, and outdoor learning facilities.

Braggers Wood ¶

A traditional woodland site close to the New Forest and coast, featuring modern facilities and a variety of on-site activities.

Butchers Coppice ¶

A 7½-acre site in north-west Bournemouth with easy access to Poole, Christchurch, and Wimborne.

Broadstone Warren ⚜️¶

A 400-acre woodland site in Ashdown Forest near Forest Row, featuring extensive camping areas, activity zones, and residential accommodation for large groups.

Essex¶

Belchamps Scout Activity Centre ¶

A 28-acre activity centre with open fields, three lodges, and a wide mix of adventurous activities for all ages.

Gilwell Park ⚜️¶

The home of Scouting! A 109-acre woodland site in Epping Forest near Chingford, offering camping fields, modern lodges, and activities like archery, climbing, and high ropes.

King Edward VIII (Riffhams)¶

A 4-hectare wooded site beside National Trust land in Little Baddow, just a few miles from Hylands Park.

Prances Scout Campsite & Activity Centre ¶

Located near Wickham Bishops, this site offers large and small camping fields, patrol areas, and residential accommodation.

Skreens Park Activity Centre ¶

Close to Chelmsford, Skreens Park combines modern facilities with a wide choice of adventurous and team-building activities.

Thriftwood ¶

Set in 76 acres near Brentwood, Thriftwood features open and wooded camping areas plus activities like archery, climbing, and shooting.

Fife¶

Fordell Firs ⚜️¶

A 48-acre adventure centre near Dunfermline with woodland camping, dorms for 67, and over 20 activities including archery, climbing, and aerial runways.

Greater London¶

Bounds Green Scout Park ¶

An 8-acre park within the North Circular, easily reached from Bounds Green station and 30 minutes from central London.

Danemead Campsite ¶

A 35-acre ancient woodland site near Broxbourne, perfect for backwoods activities and lightweight camps.

Yr Hafod ⚜️¶

A mountain hostel in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park near Bethesda in the Ogwen Valley, sleeping 32 with kitchen, drying room, and direct access to peaks like Tryfan and Y Garn for hillwalking and climbing.

Two acres of parkland within the Cranbury Park Estate, open from March to November.

Cricket Campsite ¶
